Making a difference in someone's life is what truly motivates me as a caregiver. I have a genuine passion for supporting adults and seniors, which has been reinforced through 3 years of positive experiences in care roles as well as 8 years as a school teacher. I understand the importance of providing families with a reliable care option. I am patient, compassionate, and friendly. I strive to create a comfortable environment for those in my care. I communicate with families through verbal updates or their preferred method. I am skilled in adapting to changing routines, de-escalating stressful situations, and handling confusion. My training includes First Aid. I provide light housekeeping and meal preparation. I have some college experience. Knowing I can bring a little joy and peace of mind to your family is why I do what I do.
