About Kristen

Hi! My name is Kristen. I've been working with children for many years and love being part of their learning and growth. I started working with kids when I was 13, then continued as a day camp counselor caring for children ages 3-12. Later, I worked for 2 years as a full-time teacher for elementary school students in Taiwan. Currently, I work part-time as an ESL teacher, teaching Japanese students ranging from preschool to high school. My availability is typically from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. most days. About 3 years ago, I also worked as a nanny, caring for a 6-month-old and a 6-year-old for a full year until the infant started preschool. It was such a special experience to watch them grow and reach new milestones. I've often been told I'm patient, caring, and fun to be around.
