About Krista

Hello, my name is Krista, a little about myself. I am the mother of two grown kids for the past 10 years. I have worked in childcare. Most recently I was a pre-K teacher for four years until our business closed at stores just last month. I have, however worked in a nursing home/rehab facility right before this time. I worked there for two years as an activity assistant. I was responsible for transporting the residence to and from our activities. Some activities I would lead such as bingo, crafts, various games, parties, church services, pet visits. Sometimes I would just sit in their rooms with them talking, reminiscing, watching one of their favorite shows. Giving companionship, showing friendship and a genuine care for the residents. I would tidy up their rooms, put out any decorations they would like and be an extra advocate for them. Some I might be the only advocate for them that had no remaining family. I have a genuine care for people, young and old. I am a caretaker by nature.
