About Kris

I started tutoring when I was an elementary teacher. I would tutor some students after school and on weekends. In my spare time, I like to practice photography, craft, hike, camp, and travel. One thing you should know about me is that I'm very compassionate and understanding. I want to learn about the people I tutor: what do they struggle with, for how long, what have they tried, how do they learn best, etc? I'm a problem solver that believes we all have our own ways of learning. Some people are more visual, some are hands' on, some learn better with audio, or a combination of the three. I will do whatever I can to figure out how to make learning accessible, fun, and workable for each client's unique mind and learning styles. My skills include: curiosity, understanding, compassion
