About Kortni

Hi everyone! My name is Kortni and I am a 22 yr. old Kindergarten Teacher at a charter school in the Bronx. I have an Bachelors degree in Speech Language Pathology (and a minor in Spanish!) and I am currently in my last year of Graduate school earning my Masters degree in Childhood Education. Working with kids has always been a passion of mine and I have many years of experience. I have formally taught Preschool and 1st Grade and am now teaching Kindergarten for the second year in a row. I also have experience tutoring students between 3rd and 5th grade as well. I am engaging, creative, friendly and reliable. Due to my teaching schedule, my ideal tutoring schedule would be weekdays during the evening (4:30-till) or on Weekends at any time. I have experience teaching both in person and remotely (via zoom) and can provide tutoring either way. I'm always on time and I pride myself on my ability to build relationships with families I work with. I look forward to hearing from you!
