About Kortney

I'm passionate about helping students unlock their full potential. I have a B. S. in biochemistry with a minor in biology as well as on tract to getting my DPM. I believe every student can achieve their goals with personalized support. I create an engaging, supportive, and patient learning environment. I vary my teaching strategies, using visual aids, hands-on activities, discussions, and practice problems to assess individual learning styles. To keep students motivated, I connect challenging topics to real-world examples. Communication is essential for understanding student needs. The most rewarding aspect of being a tutor is witnessing a student's "aha!" moment. I would love to help you with any of your students!
