Hi all! I am offering summer enrichment sessions for local school aged children at the Roxborough Library, Kendrick Recreation Center, and Gorgas Park this summer . About me - I've lived in the area for almost 10 years and recently bought a condo in Manayunk where I live with my husband and large Ragdoll cat . I work in a Philly school as a certified elementary and middle school teacher and English Learner program manager with PA state police and FBI clearances and can provide plenty of references . I am undergoing my Wilson Reading System Practicum for struggling readers and in grad school for educational leadership. These sessions could include the following : -Reading books with comprehension, decoding, phonics , and fluency practice -Summer reading and homework help -Creative or informational writing practice -Crafts, outdoor movement like yoga , experiments in the park -Nature walks, creative play -Collaborative or project based lessons
