About Chloe

Hello! My name is Arden (chloe is my first name but I prefer Arden!) and I am a sculptor and multidisciplinary artist living in Chicago. My apartment and studio, where I get up to a lot of metal working, is in Humboldt Park. I sustain my art practice through caregiving and nannying, and love providing care to children and adults alike. With children, I have most experience with 10-year-olds to teenagers, having nannied an 11-year-old for over a year, and subsitute taught in CPS high schools. I have also worked in classrooms and summer camps with children ages 3-16, and have experience with 4-month-olds and older. I enjoy so much making art with kids, and enjoy seeing young people's confidence and patience grow through art making. With senior care, I feel I am able to be a warm and consistent presence, and have experience with more stubborn seniors, learning to respect their autonomy, while also making sure medication/ nutrition/ hygiene is attended to.
