About Kirsten

Nurturing children and supporting families is my passion. My decade of experience caring for children (my own and friends or relatives children) has shown me the profound impact a positive caregiver can have. I am patient, creative, and friendly, and I enjoy engaging children with board games, puzzles, and educational apps. I am currently in college and will graduate within a year. I always follow the parents' lead on household rules and preferred communication methods. I am comfortable caring for more than one child at a time, and I am also happy to help with cooking and light housekeeping. I am willing to become CPR certified upon request. I speak English, beginner level French (in the process of learning more but can hold a short conversation/learn quickly), and I know some ASL (working on learning more currently). The most rewarding part of childcare for me is becoming another positive role model and safe person for children to be around.
