About Kira

Some of my best babysitting experience comes from years of babysitting my two younger half sisters, who are about 15 years younger than me, on and off throughout my teen years. Everything from changing diapers to trips to the park -- we did it all together. Additionally, I worked for 5 consecutive summers as a camp counselor at a day camp in Berkeley, taking care of children ages 6-13. Days were long and filled with energy, including a variety of sports and outdoor activities, arts and crafts, book reading, imaginary games, puzzles, etc. I carry this experience with me to my current babysitting jobs, always up for a fun game. These summers also gave me great experience in learning to relate to a variety of different kinds of children, understanding different challenges and preferences and being flexible enough to always adapt and cater to the child. Throughout my life, I have babysat for dozens of families in the Bay Area, and even in Santa Barbara, while I was a student.
