I'm a military wife and mom of two, with over 20 years of experience caring for and working with children. My experience includes working within the education system, giving me a strong understanding of children's developmental, educational, and emotional needs. Caring for children has always been something I'm passionate about. I especially love working with newborns and as well as children with special needs. I believe every child is unique, and I strive to create a safe, nurturing, and encouraging environment where they can feel comfortable being themselves while learning and growing. I love building long-term relationships with the families I work with. I have watched many of my kiddos go off to college. As a mom myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your children. I take that responsibility seriously and treat every child in my care with the same patience, kindness, respect, and love that I would want for my own children.

Kira is absolutely amazing! She became our full time nanny when our son was three months old and took care of him until he was three years old. We were new parents at the time and she was a tremendous help to us while we were trying to navigate the new waters of parenthood. She is extremely insightful and will offer advice when needed, but is also respectful of your own personal preferences on how you want your child cared for. She is really flexible on schedule and was always available for us last minute when we needed. We were both full time working parents and I never had to worry for one second when my son was with her. Her whole family was a second home for our son and that was so comforting to know as a mother. Her communication skills are amazing and she will always keep you in the loop with what's going on. She took care of him for us M - F during the day, but also was available for date nights and overnight trips as well. If she didn't have to move, we would still be with her!
