About Kinsey

Dear Families, I have worked four years as an elementary educator. Two of those years were spent abroad teaching English as a second language. I love sharing the learning process with young minds; which I find forever creative and expansive. I have recently returned from a teaching position in Thailand, and I am currently looking for a job close to home, and one less demanding than a classroom teacher, although I still prefer to work with children. I enjoy opportunities to make learning fun by using games and other creative and relevant approaches. I have experience teaching math, science, social studies, language arts (including creative writing), reading, and test taking strategies. I am well aware that the role of a teacher or a tutor is also that of a role model. I am a very positive person with high morals, and I am happy to be a good influence on our youth. As a tutor, I will be happy to work closely with parents in order to make and reach goals, work on problem areas, and help you child excel. I am honored to be considered by your family.
