About Makenna

I have been taking care of children since I was young, both professionally and for family and friends. I love how each child is unique and amazing in their own way, and I always encourage expression and compassion with all the kids I take care of. I studied in Amsterdam, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Psych. I am now a Clinical Psychology Ph. D student at Saybrook University, specializing in trauma processing in youth. I am looking for part-time work between Friday and Monday. I am currently a nanny for a family with a 2 and 3-year-old in the mornings, while completing my studies to become a LMFT. I have been a full-time nanny in the past as well, working with the little ones on creating routine, social-emotional skills, conflict resolution, communication skills, confidence and individuality, and more.
