About Sydne

Hi! My name is Sydne and I am currently looking for a new nanny family! I started my career in childcare as a preschool teacher working with ages 2-5 years old who also nannied part time. I loved my time in the classroom but always felt that a lot of my time was focused on classroom management instead of social and emotional support for my kids. I made the switch to nannying full time and started with my first family when their baby was 5 months until they moved when he was 2! I've been with my current family since their baby was 9 months and she is now 2. 5 and starting school! They also have two older girls that I spend time with everyday so I do have experience with caring for more than one child at a time. I went to college for Early Childhood Education and have even taken a Newborn Care Specialist course. I have experience in play based development and a background in Montessori education. I love spending my time with little ones and helping shape them into the people they become!
