About Kim

I have been a caregiver for the past 20 years. I have provided companionship and care for seniors who desire a friend to be with them rather than just an employee. I have cared for seniors who suffered with Cancer, Alzheimer's, Diabetes, Dementia, Pulmonary Diseases, and physical challenges to those needing an extra hand of help for daily care needs. I have worked with patients on palliative care and hospice care. I provide personal care on many levels, including monitoring vital signs when needed: blood pressure, heart rate and respiratory rate. I have provided care for patients requiring intermittent and continuous oxygen. I've been trained to provide respiratory treatments and to monitor oxygen levels with a pulse oximeter. I cook (I'm a good cook as I previously worked as a chef and have the knowledge to balance a nutritious meal according to dietary limitations), do light housekeeping and laundry, do med reminders, shop and run errands, stimulate the mind with conversation .
