I’m compelled to express my deepest gratitude and appreciation for the exceptional care Rodney provided my 90+ year old parents who were in the toughest stages of dementia. There are truly not enough words to capture the impact Rodney has had on our family. Beyond his professional responsibilities as a nurse, Rodney possesses a remarkable gift for compassionate and patient-centered care. Dealing with the complexities of dementia can be incredibly challenging, but his ability to connect with my parents on a human level was nothing short of a godsend. He has a special way of handling confusion and anxiety. Whether by simply redirecting to a physical activity or lovingly redirecting the conversation to a fond memory from their past, speaks volumes about the level of understanding and kindness Rodney brings to the role. Rodney ensured that even on the toughest days, my parents felt seen and loved. Whether during their personal care or in favorite pastime activities like a recycling project, doing laps or exercises, playing tic-tac-toe or Go Fish, jamming to oldies or belting out patriotic songs, or simply holding their hand and offering reassurance. Rodney always went the extra mile to connect with my parents. We are so impressed by Rodney’s professionalism and expertise. We could rest easy knowing my parents' medical needs were being handled with the highest level of competence. Rodney's proactive communication kept us informed and involved, which provided our family with immense peace of mind, a feeling that is truly priceless. For our family, finding Rodney was like finding an angel. His compassion, humor, and rock-solid competence allowed my parents to walk this difficult journey with dignity and grace.
