About Kimbery

Empowering students to find joy in discovery is at the heart of my teaching practice. With 10 years of experience as a certified teacher, I specialize in helping elementary and middle school students master Math, English, History, and essential study skills. I hold certifications in Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and Student accommodation plans (504), which allow me to adapt my methods to your unique needs. By breaking complex concepts into manageable steps and using diverse strategies like hands-on activities, I foster critical thinking and lasting confidence. I believe clear communication with families is essential to building a supportive, collaborative environment. Whether we are tackling a difficult problem or celebrating a breakthrough "aha!" moment, I am dedicated to your long-term success. I welcome you to join me at my home for a personalized learning experience where I look forward to helping you reach your goals.
