Hi! I am a recently retired UNC nurse with 30 years RN experience looking for occasional or 1-2 times a week jobs taking care of seniors, pets, errands, driving to appointments/activities, or afterschool care. I'm happy to do meal prep, cleaning or daily living chores. I am new to Care. com so I don't have reviews yet, but I am happy to provide references you may contact. I am dependable, fit, calm and have certifications in pediatric and adult emergency care and CPR. From years of working in with a variety of patients I am skilled at "reading the room" knowing if someone needs to talk, grieve, socialize or actually needs quiet time to rest. Ethical and dignified care is important to me. In my spare time I do yoga, hiking, read, garden with my husband and take care of my own old dog. And of course all dogs I love to walk and all cats I like to cuddle. My daughter who we raised in Chapel Hill worked many jobs through Care. com. Now she is a scientist living in Denver!
