Experience: 10 yrs
With two decades of experience, I have developed a strong dedication to senior care. My personal passion lies in supporting adults and seniors, ensuring they maintain their well-being and independence. I assist with transportation, run errands, do shopping, help with meal preparation, and provide mobility support. Additionally, I am experienced in dementia care, Parkinson's, medical management, and home health. I easily adapt to changing routines and can effectively de-escalate stressful situations. I approach confusion, agitation, or behavioral changes with patience. I am compassionate, empathetic, friendly, and approachable. I keep you informed with regular updates through text or phone, provide written daily reports, and always adhere to your preferred communication style. I have a car and I am comfortable around pets. I look forward to bringing comfort and peace of mind to your family.
Kim is an absolute angel-- AND she is funny, smart, wise, kind, and deeply caring. Kim helped care for my elderly father (age 87) for nearly two years, and stayed with us until the very end (he passed recently). At every step of the way Kim went above and beyond: not only did she tend and care for my father in all of the ways (personal care, physical help, emotional support and companionship), she always treated him with utmost respect, affection, and genuine love. As anyone who has a loved one with dementia knows, this is not always easy; dementia is difficult and demands a great deal of patience and a particular expertise. Kim's skill, experience, patience, humor, kindness, warmth, and generosity of spirit and energy are exceptional. In caring for my dad, Kim was also supporting my mother (84), and would often help with thins like technology, house issues, driving, and the like. My dad loved Kim, and always looked forward to her being with him. Over these two years Kim has become much more than a first-rate professional caregiver; she has become family. I cannot recommend her highly enough, and I am happy to provide direct references. If you're lucky enough to hire Kim, I would jump on the chance!
