About Cora

Words are not quite enough to convey my gratitude and appreciation for Cora. I live in Oregon, the opposite side of the country from Maine and my mother desperately needed a caregiver. Cora took care of my mom for the last year and a half of her life. Cora is kind and patient even when, especially when, the situation was difficult. My mom was not the easiest to get along with at times but Cora always treated her with respect and dignity. She knew exactly when to make things fun and lift my moms spirit. She was the perfect bridge between us and the various medical appointments and care she was receiving. I felt as comfortable having Cora there taking care of my mom as I would if I had been there myself. More so even because Cora did a way better job then I could have. She knew how to handle difficult situations with such grace and assuredness. I really don’t know what I would have done without Cora. She stepped up in such remarkable ways to help my family. I know that the last year and a half of my mother’s life was the best it possibly could have been because Cora was there with her. There are not very many people who can see others and care for others the way Cora can. Her heart is enormous and she is simply the best.
