About Kimberly

Hi-I'm Ms. Kim. I've been described as gentle, good natured and empathetic. Kids are full of life and are learning the world with a fresh look. They deserve respect and education to help foster their need for independence. I'm looking for a career that helps my family and gives me something to be proud of. I started working with kids for my internship at the Tarleton Day Care center. From there, I went to work in the oil field to be with my husband on the road. I chose to be a stay-at-home mom for about eight years. I worked at Choices Pregnancy Care Center where I met with women who were struggling in their situations. I was a client advocate and administrator for two years. I currently volunteer for Choices-delivering online curriculum to clients. I began my role as a pre-k/kinder teacher in Strawn in 2020. I teach students every Wed. and Sun. My skills include 6+ years VOLUNTEER experience and a Bachelor's degree in Child and Family Studies.
