About Joy

From a young age, I've been driven by a passion for nurturing children's growth. My 20 + years of babysitting/parenting experience have solidified my desire to provide reliable childcare and support families. Being a mother to 4 children and a grandmother, I am patient, creative, and friendly, and I enjoy playing outdoor games, board games, and educational activities with children. I'm comfortable caring for up to two children aged newborn to 11 years old, and I have some college experience, including coursework in early childhood development. I am First Aid and CPR certified. I communicate with parents using their preferred method, offering verbal updates at pickup and regular texts or calls. I always follow the parents' lead when enforcing household rules. I'm happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, and crafts. I look forward to the opportunity to bring my skills and enthusiasm to your family.
