I worked through the state of WV doing title 19 waiver for yrs for children with disabilities and Adults with disabilities, I also did daycare through Mountain Heart but it was State of WV at that time I done it for 10 years really enjoyed both jobs. I've done respite in my home specialized family home care to give parents a break. I have considered doing it again. I am going back to work because my husband is on medication that after insurance pays it's still around 300 a month at our cost. We have tried getting help from the state. Never having help before and my husband worked his whole life only to be treated like dogs! So uncalled for!! My husband has Myotonic Muscular Dystrophy type 1 and he is dying from it and I can't even get him him a medical card cause he has Humana. He is 60yrs old. There is something wrong with our system!!!! I will never put him in a nursing home I will find work married for 30 years.
