Hello, For the past 2 years I have been a caretaker for a sweet lady that has dementia. Previously I worked with kids in VA until I moved to WVA 2 years ago. A friends family needed help and someone to take care of their aunt. I have learned so much in her care. Responsibilities included bathing, meal prep/ or cooking dinner, taking her to her appointments , light housework. We worked puzzles, doing art. crafts, fishing games, singing, planting flowers and just having fun with different activities As the dementia progressed I helped with using bathroom, getting out of bed and using her walker. I am a Christian, love caring for people, always have a smile and love to laugh.
