I have worked in both an assisted living and nursing home environment. I have a lot of passion for what I do. I love taking care of those in need and I feel I get a lot back from the experience. The experience teaches me things about myself I never knew about. The residents have so much knowledge and have lived through things I could never imagine and just to be able to listen to them and help them is worth while. I know that if it was my family member that I would want them to be treated like they were also family. Most people just want a friendly face to help them through the day.
