About Kiara

Hey! My name is Kiara. I was born and raised in the Boston area, I've been living in the Raleigh area for about a year now and I absolutey love it! I graduated from Wheelock college (now under Boston University) in May of 2017, earning my bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and Developmental Psychology with a minor in visual arts! I have about 15 years experience babysitting ages ranging from infant to 14years old. I am a certified infant/toddler teacher, and preschool/pre-k teacher, with about 8 years in the field. I also have experience working with children on the spectrum, both verbal and non-verbal of various ages. I am familiar with ASL, it's a great way to communicate! I am CPR/First Aid certified, as well as keeping up to date with all sorts of trainings. I love to read, explore the arts, both art and music, and let the child pave the way to imaginative play. I also enjoy playing games outside, weather permitting of course. (though a little rain won't hurt)
