About Kiara

As grad student in route of becoming a school psychologist, I have a passion for helping individuals that are often overlooked and unrepresented. Growing up as the older sister with a brother on the spectrum, I helped my Spanish speaking parents navigate my brothers hardships while building his academic and professional development. Having brothers with disabilities has fostered the patience and empathy needed to work with individuals of different backgrounds to ensure all their needs are met. I have extensive medical knowledge as I have a bachelors in molecular and cell biology and worked as a veterinary assistant for 3 years. Being able to help others and create a lasting impact in their lives has been my sole drive in achieving my life's purpose.
