About Nyah

I'm looking for a job that allows me to do good in the world by aiding both families and the community. It takes a village to raise children, and I want to be there to support families. I grew up the 2nd of four children, with my older brother having autism and cerebral palsy. My experiences with my own family has made me passionate about the care children receive. I've been working with kids since my little brother was born. I was six and would help my parents by feeding and playing with him. As we were older and I got another younger sibling, I ended up doing a lot of babysitting for my family. I officially started babysitting and petsitting for other families when I was 12. Currently, I work as a recreational assistant, in which a part of my job is facilitating activities and watching over kids. My skills include first aid and CPR certifications, patience, and a willingness to be silly.
