About Kia
Experience: 10 yrs
Empowering elementary students to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching practice. With 10 years of experience and a graduate degree, I focus on building confidence through personalized support rather than simple memorization. I actively listen to observe how you learn best, adapting my methods--from visual aids to hands-on activities--to suit your unique needs. When concepts feel challenging, I break them down into manageable steps and connect them to your personal interests to keep you motivated. I believe open communication with families is essential for setting clear goals and fostering a collaborative environment. Nothing compares to the joy of witnessing that "aha!" moment when a student masters a new skill. I am comfortable working with pets and am happy to meet at your home, school, or a local library. I look forward to helping you discover how much you are truly capable of achieving.
