About Kerry

Hi! I'm Kerry D., and I'm 28 years old. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Child Development from William Paterson University, and I'm currently pursuing my Master's in Social Work. I've worked with children for nearly 10 years, beginning with babysitting at age 14. Since then, I've gained experience in private homes as a nanny and in early childhood education settings as a Lead Infant Teacher and Lead Toddler 2 Teacher. I also worked at ECLC as a paraprofessional, where I supported children on the autism spectrum, and I have experience as a care manager for youth with behavioral and mental health challenges. While I've loved every step of my journey, nannying has always been my passion. It's something I'd love to return to while I finish graduate school. I'm CPR and AED certified and served as a volunteer EMT for 4 years. I truly enjoy helping children grow and thrive, and I aim to be a positive, dependable support for both the children and their families.
