I am currently a certified HCA. I took care of my grandpa for 6 years, and I have been an Agency provider and an Independent Provider for the last 3-4 years. I enjoy helping seniors and the disabled, allowing them to keep independence in the comfort of their own home. I have had expierence working with kids when I worked for CARE, an after school daycare program where kids can do homework, play on playground, watch movies, etc. Although I learned a lot there, I also aquired expierence while living with a friend and his 3 kids, ages 2-10, for 3 years. I can provide homework help and enjoy the company of kids. My favorite thing to do is anything creative and crafty and enjoy being outdoors; although a video game every now and then is fun too. I am also a mom to a silly, energetic 7-year-old. Not paid child care expierence, but worth a mention.
