About Amy

Hi my name is Amy; I love working with kids! I was a private nanny for 5yrs, teaching kids is a rewarding and fun job and I have over 16 yrs. Of experience with caregiving. I have two kids of my own, age 15(boy) & 17(girl) that I also homeschool. So I've worked with kids from infants to teens and up to 5 kids at a time. I believe learning is best achieved through play so I do lots of interacting, reading, singing & dance with music, arts & crafts, have own transportation to take kids on outings, also do kids yoga and movie time and naps if needed. I work with families to help implement current rules, reward/praise positive behaviors and help if there is child in potty training as well. I look forward to meeting you! I only do private pay care. I service the yakima, west valley and Tampico areas.
