About Kera

I'm a third-year computer engineering student with 5+ years of tutoring experience, starting when I was a sophomore in high school where I tutored internally via teacher recommendation and professionally via a Kumon learning center. I love working with students of any age to help them master difficult subject matter, especially STEM. In high school and through college I worked multiple tutoring jobs alongside helping with the NAACP's science and math olympiad as a STEM mentor. I also founded a brief program through which I developed fun activities to introduce elementary students to scientific concepts. My methods are successful because they are based on flexibility and creativity, where I focus on seeing issues from the student's perspective.
