About Kenya

I am an educated mother of two adult children. Caring for children has always come naturally to me and I believe every child deserves to feel safe understood and encouraged. I understand how personal it is to leave your child in someone else's care and I do not take that responsibility lightly. Whether your child needs help with learning or routine pick up or drop off I would love to support your family. I am patient, attentive and enjoy helping children learn at their own pace. I currently work one on one with a child with Down Syndrome and we have completed our fourth easy to read book. This experience strengthened my ability to adapt communicate gently and celebrate progress. I am dependable calm and nurturing and I strive to create a supportive environment where children feel secure. My 23 years in Human Resources have strengthened my communication skills, discretion, and respect for personal boundaries.
