Hello. My name is Ken and I have been working as a live-in caregiver in Southern California for several years. I began taking care of my father in 2015 when he began to develop dementia along with limitations of his mobility. A few years after my dad passed away in 2018, I took care of my brother who had cancer, until he passed away in late 2022. In 2023 I moved back to Goleta and to a position as a live-in caregiver for a mentally and physically disabled adult in his late 50s. I have experience cooking, cleaning, issuing and recording medications, coordinating with doctors and other caregivers, transportation to appointments, grocery shopping and pet care. In my spare time I write music. I am now looking for a new live-in caregiver position in Santa Barbara County. I am a certified live-in caregiver through the In Home Support Services program (IHSS) of the California Department of Social Services. Thank you for your consideration.
