About Kennedy

My name is Ms. Kennedy, but Kenn or Kennedy is just fine. I was born and raised in Memphis, and am currently an Agriculture major at Austin Peay State University. I'm home for the summer and excited to connect with families in the area. I'm a former Pre-K teacher with 7 years of classroom experience and have been working with children for about 15 years total. Over the years, I've supported families and childcare teams across all age ranges, from infants to teens, through roles in early education centers, summer camps, and community programs. I am CPR & First Aid Certified, and I take a natural, hands on approach to childcare. My days with little ones include limited screen time and more enriching, creative, and outdoor activities that spark curiosity and confidence. While I'm no longer a pet owner, I still love and welcome all pets in the home. I'm family oriented, reliable, and passionate about helping children learn through play, exploration, and connection.
