About Kenna

Hello there! I'm Kenna. I'm currently a student at Texas Woman's University studying biology and completing premedicine courses. I love working with seniors! It's such a joy and a privilege to support and care for our elders. I have 1 year of paid experience working in a non-clinical position at a dementia care nursing home in Wisconsin. My duties in this position included meal preparation, including preparing meals according to dietary restrictions (thickened liquids, puréed meals, low sodium and low carb meals, etc), and housekeeping. I also provided companionship and assisted with dressing and hair care. What I offer: light housekeeping, meal prep, dressing, errands and outings, medication prompting, and companionship. I am comfortable with cats and small-medium dogs. I do not offer help with bathing, feeding, or toileting needs as I am not certified as a nurse or nurse aid.
