About Kendra

Empowering students to reach their full potential drives my approach to education. With 19 years of experience supporting elementary through high school learners, I specialize in Math, English, and essential study skills. I believe every student possesses unique strengths, so I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. By breaking complex problems into manageable steps and connecting concepts to real-world interests, I help students develop the critical thinking skills necessary for long-term success. I prioritize open communication with families to ensure my teaching methods--ranging from visual aids to hands-on activities--align perfectly with your student's needs. Witnessing that "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks is the most rewarding part of my work. I look forward to partnering with you to help your student achieve their academic goals.
