About Kelly

Hi! My name is Kelly, and I am a credentialed elementary school teacher in California with a passion for helping young learners build confidence and a love for learning. I earned my undergraduate degree from Chapman University and completed my teaching credential at California Lutheran University. I have experience working across elementary grade levels, with a special love for TK-3rd grade as students develop foundational skills in reading, writing, and math. I take a patient, encouraging, and personalized approach, meeting each child where they are and helping them grow at their own pace. I recently welcomed a baby, which is why I'm currently tutoring instead of teaching in a traditional classroom. This allows me to continue doing what I love while being present for my son.
