About Mariah

I'm a Certified Teacher with 5 years of experience teaching 1st and 2nd grade, a Master's degree in Reading, Language and Literacy, and a Reading Specialist Credential. Reading is my passion, and I love helping young learners build strong foundations in phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension while developing confidence in themselves as readers. I believe every child learns differently, so l personalize lessons to meet their unique needs and make learning engaging and meaningful. I'm also happy to support elementary math when needed, but reading is truly where I shine! My goal is to help every student feel capable, confident, and excited to learn.
