Hello, I love working with kids. In fact, I have been working with kids since I was 12 years old. I love getting silly with imagination games and adventures, playing games, building towers with blocks, playing musical instruments, doing arts and crafts, playing outside, swimming, water-play (for the little ones), reading books with puppets (I'm the type of babysitter that will figure out what your child loves and show up with library books just for them!). I attended nursing school at FGCU and completed my bachelors degree and went on to get a doctorate degree. I have been babysitting for over 20 years (taking some breaks in between for school). I have worked at day cares, been promoted to an after school care director, worked for tutoring companies, had nursing pediatric clinical experience, and with all the families I've sat for, I have plenty of references. Kelly is amazing! She was caring for my three children (3 years old, 2 and 8 months old). She got goodies from the Fire-station, books from the library and arts and crafts. She always included the youngest in the activities as well which is amazing. Kelly took the time to learn each child and for them to become comfortable with her. My kids talked about how much fun they had and didn't take the fire hats or badges off all night. They cannot wait to see her again, we will definitely be asking Kelly to return. She is extremely thoughtful and attentive!
