About Kelly

My personality is calm, compassionate, and curious. I have provided care for elders with cognitive challenges and their families since 2015. I always learn about myself by being wholly present with others. In graduate school, I studied the influence of brain damage on language, focusing on Alzheimer's disease. I supervised a joyful adult day program for five years until the pandemic forced its closure. I'm looking for part-time work near Carmel while I write a memoir about memory loss. I am a creative cook, a writer, and an editor, and I nurture international friendships by traveling abroad as often as possible. I am also a hospice volunteer and have been honored to sit beside people in their final moments and hours.
