About Kelli

Hello! I have been teaching for 6 years. I have my degree in Elementary Education. I am gifted in my ability to explain and break things down in an easy to understand manner. I am very patient and will not give up. I personally struggled with school growing up which makes it easy for me to empathize with a child who needs more support. Math: I have experience with teaching Singapore math (EI: number bonds, ways to make 10). How to teach using manipulatives and drawings to show our work. Reading: I am skilled in teaching a child how to read (3-8 years old). I have a reading endorsement which required many college classes in Florida. I have completed the Texas Reading Academies program. I am certified to teach in the state of Texas. I would prefer a reoccurring job as one session will not be enough to see improvements.
