About Kellie Jo

Hi there! I was born in Seoul and raised in NW IA. I've been working as Assistant Teacher at an early childhood center since May '24, working with children aged 3months-3yrs. On the weekends, I work as a DSP for adults w/ disabilities. When I'm out, I thrift, visit cafes, canoe and kayak, and go on walks with my dog Archie! At home, I garden, cook, play games, watch documentaries and listen to music. I was a camp counselor in KS '22 w/ elementary and middle school aged girl and spent the summer of '23 in the Rocky Mountains where I worked in the kitchen and as a camp counselor. I've been volunteering as a childcare worker (newborn to age 4) for a nonprofit in my hometown for the past 7 years. I've worked in a kitchen with a variety of dietary needs and restrictions, so I'm comfortable meeting those needs. My first language is English, and I know basic ASL. I've been driving for almost 7 years. I'm looking forward to connecting with you! Kellie
