About Kellie

For seven years, I've been working with students of all ages, creating meaningful learning experiences in environmental stewardship. I was a garden teacher at the elementary, middle and high school level for 3 years, and also led hands-on ecology classes for students in many different informal educational settings. I also designed educational curriculum for a large school district as the Sustainability Coordinator and have taught over 10, 000+ students over a period of nearly 8 years. I focus on building confidence and fostering a love for learning. I create an engaging, supportive, and patient learning environment. I actively listen to students and observe their interactions with new material. I also seek feedback through regular parental check-ins. I would love to work with you and your student!
