I have lived around elderly people in my life that have had disabilities, my grandma with polio and my grandfather who had one leg due to war. My late husband who died from cancer Nov 15th 2025 and his mother from cancer and her parents with dementia. It seems like I have looked after someone from something. I also worked in a nursing home with dementia patients for three years and loved every minute of it. I respect my elders and show them respect. When I see elders I see that they are or was someone's son or daughter or mother and father or brother or sister. I have a kind heart a strong back and being honest and trustworthy is how I was raised.
