About Kelley

My original educational background is tutoring elementary school students and I hold a graduate degree in education. I have raised three children and enjoyed the memories of their first year of life. Currently am an early education teacher specifically working with infants and toddlers. My small activities and lessons are focused upon the Indiana standards. I believe in a routine that is appropriate. Engaging imaginative play are my main focus. I like to follow the policy of other daycares where they update caretakers with photos and detailed updates on their individual child. I would do the same for caretakers working outside of the home or inside the home while their child is in my care. My personal learning preference is logical learning where caretakers tell me specific information regarding their child. Concerning discipline, each child will learn "nice hands" instead of hitting, throwing, or any other aggressive use of their hands.
