About Kealaula

Aloha, my name is Lau. I am a first time mother who loves kids! I recently had to leave my job because I gave birth and had to make the hard decision between staying home and caring for my child or continuing to work while paying for childcare. For a year, I worked in a program with children from 0-5 years old where I was a teacher's assistant and lead teacher when the teacher was out. Before that I was a program leader at an afterschool program for nearly 2 years. During my high school summer's I was a TA for a preschool ages 2-5. I also have many nieces and nephews who I'd babysit very often. I love being a mom and i'm grateful that I have the oppurtunity to stay home and raise my daughter but I miss being around kids as it's the reason I fell in love with working. Because my daughter is young wherever I go, she goes as well. I speak Hawaiian and am open to teaching other too! Mahalo for considering me to care for your children.
