About Keala

Aloha! I'm Keala, I'm in my mid-thirties, and am born and raised on the island of O'ahu. I have been a special education teacher for all ages, for 3 years total, as well as an English as a Second Language teacher for children and adults. I have also been a teaching assistant for various ages for around 2 years. My strengths are writing, reading comprehension, and grammar. I am certified to teach English as a Second Language, which required me to study grammar in depth. My past teaching skills taught me how to lesson-plan and personalize lessons for various types of students. I am confident that I would be able to help you or your child(ren)! I love teaching and working one on one with my students, getting to know them personally, as well as helping them build confidence and skills they need to meet their goals!
