Hello! My name is Chelly, and I'm excited to express my interest in joining your tutoring team! A little about me: I've been tutoring math for over 25 years and truly love it. I hold a degree in Secondary Education - Mathematics, and currently tutor several students in person and online. My students are in grades 3 through math levels of Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry or Algebra 2. My approach is all about identifying and building on a student's strengths while helping to strengthen any weaker areas. I believe the one-on-one support that tutoring offers is key to creating a personalized learning experience that meets each student's unique needs. When tutoring online, I like the student to share their screen showing their textbook so that in conjunction with tutoring, I can teach them to use the resources they have in hand. I write my notes including step by step instructions using various colors to help drive home the topic at hand.
